Where CV78 fits
Because the 630 V starting point allows a smaller case for a given capacitance, CV78 is typically specified for timing and coupling circuits, DC filtering in instrument power supplies and any position where the 1,000 V minimum of CV76 is unnecessary.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between CV76 and CV78?
CV76 covers 1,000 V – 10,000 V with capacitance up to 2.2 µF; CV78 covers 630 V – 10,000 V with capacitance up to 1.5 µF. Choose CV78 when the lower starting voltage gives a more compact case for the capacitance you need.
What is the lead time for CV series mica capacitors?
Standard items are produced in 4–8 weeks from order confirmation. Custom designs are scheduled individually.
Do you supply samples for qualification testing?
Yes. Qualification samples are available on request; terms and cost are confirmed when the request is placed.
In which language is the technical documentation issued?
Type tables, the technical specification for the part number and dimensional drawings are issued in English, and in Russian where required.
